Not Happy, But Holy;
Not wealthy, nor the “dream of one’s own desire”,
Not any heresy,
But “we preach Christ and Him crucified.”
Not positive thoughts, nor negative thoughts,
But faithful to the witness “Thy will be done”.
Not prestige or prominence, not superficial status, education,
Not position, title, special dress, special distinction,
Only special devotion. Only “I Am the way.”
Not many gods, many paths, all relative, Christianity another “humanity”,
but God in Christ “no man comes to the Father but by me.”
Not success, but heavy bearing cross beam following.
Not anything or anyone, but Christ.
Not chaos, Christ.
Not compromise, conviction.
Not any old christ of easy creation,
But Christ of the Christian Scripture.
Not to know Him, is not to live.
“And let all them that put their trust in You rejoice; they shall ever be giving of thanks,
because You defend them; they that love Your Name shall be joyful in You”
