Our Mission Statement
 

We, the members of Mansfield First Presbyterian Church, are a people called by God, redeemed by Jesus Christ, constantly inspired and strengthened by the Holy Spirit, and commissioned to be faithful servants of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
  Therefore, we claim as our mission and devote ourselves to:
 
To glorify God in Christ by building disciples and meeting people’s needs.

Our Vision

We are part of the body of Jesus Christ who is the Light of the world.  Our love for the Lord is shown first through our steadfast commitment to Him.

We practice our commitment by and through:

  • Biblical learning
  • Individual and corporate repentance
  • Intercessory prayer
  • Good works

As part or the great community, we will:

  • Share the Gospel with others through friendship and evangelism
  • Invite others to join us in worship and discipleship
  • Encourage others to make a commitment to be part of our congregation

By letting His light shine through us, we will draw other to a zealous faith in God through Jesus Christ.

 

 

Services We Provide
Disability Assistance

The church and all of it's facilities are wheel-chair accessible. An elevator and multi-level entrances are available. Personal assistance is also readily available. We offer large-print bulletins, Bibles and Hymnals for those with special vision needs. Also available are written copies of the sermons and personal hearing aids for those with special hearing needs.

 

Baptism

Both believers and their Children are included in God's covenant of love. Children may be baptized at the request of member parents.  Adults are baptized upon their own profession of faith.

 

Communion

At least 6 times a year,

 plus special services during lent.
