The Personnel Committee met with Muskingum Valley Presbytery to understand the purpose of sabbaticals and how they are implemented. During the Associate Pastor’s sabbatical, the team was apprised of his weekly progress. Following the resignation of the Associate Pastor, the committee met with Presbytery to work out a severance package.

Our team has continued to meet with the Budget Committee regarding salaries for personnel. We have also met a number of times with the Head of Staff regarding our responsibilities as a team. Based on the experience of the team, we developed and proposed a new structure and set of procedures that would be most effective to the church and to achieving the work of the Personnel Mission Team.

The Personnel team has been, and continues to be, available to provide council, a ready ear, and a helping hand for staff whenever requested.
