Children

Christian Education - At 11:15 a.m. following the service of Worship there is a "rotation" model series of learning experiences for school-age children.  Nursery care is available for younger children.  The 10:00 a.m. hour of worship offers as an option child care for children from infant through seven years. 

There is a special Children's Message during the worship service, after which the youngest children are invited to participate in their own place and form of worship.

The Crib Connection minstry provides support for new parents in the church family.  The goal is to help parents adjust to the changes which are brought to the family with the arrival of a new baby.

Vacation Bible School is held for one week during the summer.  Everyone in the community - from toddlers to adults - are provided with opportunities to learn and grow.

PrimeTime! is a mid-week program for children.  The goal is to nurture young people in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  The program offers Bible study and activities.  Following, the children may share a meal with parents and other members of the congregation.  followed by a shared meal.  Then there is the opportunity to worship, and there will be times for the children to help lead the worship.  PrimeTime! meets Wedneday evenings during the school year.

Throughout the Year special events occur, such as what has been called the Bible Blast, which is an in-the-church-building overnight for children, and the Ye Younge Gift Shoppe, at Christmastime, in which children make gifts for friends and family.
